Can you alter FOV in a 3D Max pano if using WrapAround modifier?

  • This is probably a weird question for this forum, but I'm trying everything...I'm creating a pano of a football field in 3DS Max, using the Mental Ray renderer. Camera is set in a very specific location...can't move. When rendering, the players are very, very small. I'm trying to bring them "closer" to camera by adjusting the FOV. Looks good in the program's viewport, but no matter what FOV value I enter, the rendered result is the same. Any ideas how to fix this, or is there a better way of doing this?

    BTW, I have tried using VRay, but that distorts the image too much to use.
