Future-Proof Offline Archive

I'm fairly new to krpano, using it successfully to include dozens of panoramas in a family website alongside thousands of images and videos. I'm working on creating an offline version on a portable drive that is as future-proof as possible (that I can create copies of to give to my kids). Using HTML pages to present the archive, I'll keep them as vanilla as possible to avoid future problems with layout or scripting.

What is your recommendation for a future-proof way to present the panoramas?

Hi,

you could use Electron or NW.js to have an offline and browser-version-independent software for viewing the panos/tours.

Best regards,
Klaus

Hi,

I tried to build an offline tour with electron, but I didn't get it offline to work *confused* . Does anyone know (or is able to do) a step-by-step tutorial how to do that? I appreciate any help.

Thanks for your time
Nico
