video formats needed for the krpano video player

My question is about the video formats needed for the krpano video player. I have been told that I need to have: mp4, webm and mp3 to make the videos play across all platforms. Webm's take so much time to render (hours compared to mp4) so I am wondering if there is any way around this. I would like to just have to upload the mp4.

the video format/codec support doesn't depend on krpano - that depends on the browser itself!

Just mp4 could be fine for the most cases, but even then additional different mp4 profile levels and resolutions might be still recommendable.

Best regards,
