A hotspot with flying="1.0" is sized "relative to 1000 pixel in screen height." Set the hotspot height to 1000 and it fits the screen height perfectly. Doesn't work in VR mode. In fake VR mode screen height seems to be 450 pixels but in real VR mode is seems smaller still. How should we do hotspot sizing in VR mode??
Flying hotspot sizing in VR Mode?

Hi,
by default flying-out hotspots scale to screen-space-size (regardless if VR mode or not), but for VR this doesn't make sense, because there the fov is the more important factor than the pixel-screen-size.
To make the flying-hotspot scaling independent of the screensize and the zoom there is the new scaleflying setting, which could be set to false for this case:

"scaleflying." New to me. If scaleflying is false and you want a hotspot height to match the screen height do you set the hotspot height = stageheight in pixels? Guess I will start experimenting...
Big thanks for pointing in the right direction.

Hi,
with scaleflying=false you can set any custom scaling, but in VR any 'screen-sizes' are the wrong references as there is no real screen there.
Better set a fixed size, then that size should be always the same large, regardless of the device-screen-size or the headset-settings.
Best regards,

Color me confused. Here is what I want to do: Size a flying image hotspot to fit the viewport. For example, have an image pop up to fill the screen width or height with nothing cropped. This is "easy" when not in VR mode. How do I accomplish this in VR mode?
It is also easy enough to exactly size non-flying hotspots in VR mode (fireworks). Am I missing something obvious to accomplish same with flying hotspots?
