flash animations do not retain framerate in krpano

so in my wife and I's halloween 360 we made a handful of flash animations. when we view them in flash or IE they are timed correctly however once they are loaded into krpano they speed up. we can double the frames in between each footstep but that change is not reflected in krpano it still goes fast. same thing with the ghost we have. opened by itself it floats more slowly but inside krpano it looks like it is trying to sprint a 5 minute mile.

any ideas why framerate is not accuratly recognized inside krpano?

that could also be the thing that doubles (x1.5) my stage with the packshot on my site...

and also with my flash hotspots..

Klaus what could that be??

I just tested this animated hotspot thing and there is a lot to do there :-)
I also notice the frame rate problem which would be nice to fix.
http://www.panagito.com the "test animate post"
the flash is 35 frames. In my browser it views at 20 frames

Hi VN2009,

Zitat

any ideas why framerate is not accuratly recognized inside krpano?
I do not really know .... but perhaps the following post has some relation with your problem:
krpano 1.0.8 beta 8
VIEWER:
distorted hotspots
  • distorted parameter for hotspots (true or false)
  • rx,ry,rz parameters for the 3D roation over the X/Y/Z axis (in degrees)
  • the size can be controlled via width, height and scale
  • refreshrate parameter for animated images (swf hotspots) can be 0-60, default is "auto" - this will automatically detect the frame rate for swf movies (for videos it's recommended to use the videoplayer plugin)

Hope this can help.

SAlut.

thanks for the reply I put refreshrate ="auto" in the hotspot node ? and no change.
Oddly when zoomed in the animation is the right speed but when zoomed out it gets faster and faster.
nothing looks sillier.

Hi,

the main problem is that there is only one framerate in flash,
it can't be different for different swfs, that means a swf with an frame-based animation will play faster,
when included into a other swf with an other framerate (krpano uses 60 as default, see - <display> )

the "refreshrate" for distorted hotspots just set how often the internal bitmap, where the swf will be drawn will be refreshed,
this is setting for performance optimizing, e.g. when the content of the swf will not change often, a lower value can be used,

best regards,
Klaus

Hi Klaus,

The "auto" values, for the refreshrate, corresponds to what values ? the refreshrate of the loaded swf ?

I've a SWF made with mxmlc. I've not set any refreshrate in the [SWF(...)] attributes, and it seams that krpano take "0" for the refresh rate value = auto, because the tween on my hotspot does not appears anymore.

If I enter a number instead of auto, it's Ok.
