Problems With 1.19pr13 / MAC / CHROME : no HTML5 support

Hi,

Lots of users are reporting facing the classic message "Adobe Flash or HTML 5 browser sith Webgl or Css3d support required" since last krpano update 1.19.pr13

Always on Mac with last version of Chrome 61.0.3163.100

Using a different browser Safari or Firefox on same machines work correctly.

Anyone experiencing this?

Best regards

Hi,

on krpano side nothing had been changed and when the browser itself doesn't offer WebGL or CSS3D or Flash support, then there is nothing that krpano (or any other Javascript) could do of course!

Maybe Chrome 61 has an updated GPU blacklist and the GPU of these lot users is now on that list...

Comparing with different browsers isn't relevant here because each browser has its own graphics engine and own rules for hardware support. When Chrome doesn't support a specific GPU anymore, other browsers still could do.

Btw - do you maybe know which GPU?
Then it might be possible to check the Chrome sources if that GPU is on the blacklist.

Here the Chrome GPU blacklist:
https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromi…ering_list.json

and here the recent changes of it:

Best regards,
Klaus

Hi Klaus,

Thanks for information

I'm about to investigate with users about the GPU blacklist, thanks
