Hotspots made up of points and masking

I would need a feature to show a person as a hotspot in a panorama who is clickable but would only recieve mouse clicks if really that person is clicked (note that the person has an irregular shape). A solution with one image of the person as a hotspot + and an image mask is unacceptable because he would have to appear on various panos and in various positions; so the mask has to be a hotspot composed of points.

1.) If a hotspot contains points, it cannot have an url attribute
2.) If I create a hotspot named mask1 made up of points with another one called img1 with url tag and try to assign mask="hotspot[mask1]" for img1, nothing gets displayed. Without the mask both hotspots are visible but it is far away from the expected result.

I would welcome any idea to solve this question.
