Hi!
Is there a way to render out screenshots with higher resolution than the browser window? Would be great if this would be possible online.

Glaube nicht, da es ja ein Screenshot ist, also eine 1:1 Kopie.

Hi,
yes, this is possible - e.g. in this example just use a custom size instead of 0 for the size parameters:
https://krpano.com/examples/usage/#makescreenshot-apiAnd by preloading the tiles for a participial resolution it would be also possible to make higher-res-'screenshots' with the best tiles for that resolution. There will be an example for this included in one of the next releases. Then the limit for screenshots will be only the system capabilities and resources.
Best regards,

Hi Klaus,
i am still on this. I tried the new krpano version and added the PRELOAD flag to the tour.
Still the screenshot renders only a lowres version, even when i change the values for the size.
Can you perhaps give me a hint?
Cheers,

Hi,
the new version 1.20.1 provides now a possibility for doing hi-resolution screenshots - here an example:

hm..
wasn't it already possible before to make screenshots larger than the window size?
was this upscaled / bad quality then? -
Hi,
yes, larger (or any other sized) 'screenshots' were already possible and they were new rendered in the given size (not up- or down-scaled) - but they were only using the currently loaded tiles.
In that new example the viewer is first forced to load tiles from a higher resolution level - that's also visualized by a making the tile-borders visible and showing a loading text - and once all tiles are loaded the 'screenshot' is rendered (now using the tiles from a higher-resolution level).
It becomes more clear when looking at the example source:

what would have happened in 1.19 with a large screenshot size?
