Fuzzy Search Plugin

This is the discussion thread for the Fuzzy Search Plugin.
This plugin searches in a list and finds the best result even when the user spells words incorrectly.

Main Features :

The list of scenes can be generated automatically by this plugin (no programming required).
It shows list items in grouped view.
Fully customizable with 3 different styles.
Style customizable with CSS power.
Right to left languages are supported.

to be honest, I didn't test it with the Japanese language.
but technically, yes!

you can use addItem action to add your text to the plugin and then you can search on it!

two languages

Hey! great plugin! Is it possible to add a second language? For example, so that the scene has an attribute not just title, but title 1 and title 2? I'm not sure if this is the right solution, but how to make a second language for the plugin?

Hey there!

Thank's for the update!

However it still does not look compatible with 1.21

- It kinda works for the project but doesn't seem to work for new tours
- even in the partly working version there are still things not going well:
- styling of the search button does not have any effects
- (custom) thumbnail icons not being shown.

Thank you for looking further into making your plugin work with the new krpano version!

Ok, got everything working again with some workarounds.

Can you however please reintegrate the syntax to define custom thumbnails for search item?
It was unfortunately lost with the update.

Hi,

either try fixing the Javascript code (don't use variables without explicit declaration),
or disable the usestrictjs setting (either globally or only for individual actions)

Hi Klaus,

thanks for the input! Already got everything working again with some workarounds and the Update provided by Hamid. However a customs function he implemented before the update seems to be lost.

Search the pano description (or keywords)

Any chance of adding the ability to also search the text in the pano descriptions? Or some way of assigning keywords to panos so they could be searched based on words not in the titles?
