I want to overlap(blend) two panorama image, and want to blend with slider.
I want to overlay panorama image in the front of background panorama image.
So it is basically two panorama images overlapped, and making it turn on and off, and add alpha slider UI to it.
This picture shows what i want to do.... refer the attached image please!
I am thinking of numerous options. Like, making multiple instances of krpano and overlap, while making foreground krpano translucent, or even using three.js thing. But not sure which one is actually possible... what do you think?
And here's my research...
To my best knowledge, this is what i could found with research. https://www.cinod.fr/wordpress/wp-c…lan-dessin.html
But it is not so much helping because it is swf...
And I could find official 'blending image' thing https://krpano.com/examples/119/k…ending-demo.xml
in official examples folder, but existing API won't allow me to change blend progress.
Could you let me know how I could achieve this?
My environment is as follows - shows tiled panorama, 20k x 10k. Not using flash, and should support IE9(using canvas).
Thank you in advance!

I think the writer want to make two images panorama, not hotspots.
The hotspots can't implement multires.
So if he want to use two multires images, couldn't make it with hotspots. -
Hi,
Not sure about your slider question, the on and off might be possible in future updates...
but can you tell how you made the depthmap of the pano?Tuur

Dear both.. regarding generation of depth map, kandao camera was not our solution. We used terrestrial lidar, and made it as jpeg image, and grey image is coded with HSV, according to distance from sensor. BTW the reference image is not mine!

I already looked into first one - the pool and hotspot thing - and it was not what i was looking for. It is just overlaying translucent polygon onto designated coordinates. I want full overlapping between pano images.
But the latter one might be what i am looking for! So that is hotspot thing, but cubemap is used instead of some coordinates. I think that is cool and i have to test it - <image> with multi-resolution option is there, and in the front, there's multiple <hotspot> tags representing cubemap - I hope it works out well. I will try out and post result here. Much thanks!
And if you have some, could you provide me links for explanation on this example? That would be great study material for me. -
you cant overlay two multires panos.
multires works only for scenes and you cant blend these with a manual sliderright now you can use a scene (your 20k image)
and use a hotspot (lowres depthmap) as full or partial overlay -

can i ask why to overlay the image with the dephtmap?

We are making web viewer for surveyers. Overlayed depth map will be used as 'depth clue' for workers.

I think it can be done with multires panos. It's not perfect solution of course but...
I would use old sync example (do you remember two panoramas next to each other?) - but both divs should overlay themselves (not to by aligned side by side). You could also ue IFRAME with the same pano and control (synchronize) it via javascript. The main problem is small lags during rotating pano, but it should be ok when panos stop. You could use transparency slider then.
Here's side-by-side example - https://www.ai360.pl/projekty/sync3/
I would try use this technique to make two multires panoramas overlay.
