after the upgrade, "showerrors" and "logkey" attributes don`t work on my virtual tours.
is it a bug or caused by my mistake?

Will Panotour Pro work with KRpano 1.2?

Last year Klaus said

Zitat

With the last Panotour Pro release (version 2.5.14) Kolor has opened the access to its previously internal template files to make it possible to edit or update them manually. That means some updates to Panotour Pro are still possible.

Zitat

I will try to use that new opened access to provide 'update-packages' for Panotour Pro when new krpano versions will be released. This should make it easier to use the latest krpano version in Panotour Pro and maybe also add some fixes to some templates when necessary.

Will there be an update that enables Panotour Pro to work with Krpano 1.2?

Thank you a million times, Klaus. Once again you have moved VR technology into the future in a completely practical way.
I look forward to using these new tools to build real 3D experiences.

As far as I know krpano 1.20 is backwards compatible and therefore should already work with Panotour.
If you can make Panotour to build tours with 1.20 directly (instead of manually updating krpano later), I dont know.
In any case the update(s) would need to happen on the Panotour side, not on the krpano side.

Hi,

Thanks for the nice words!

Do you have any plans to provide upgrade instructions for those of us who are using Pano Tour Pro to build our projects.
Will there be an update that enables Panotour Pro to work with Krpano 1.2?
I have already started working on a PTP update package, but that might still take 1-2 weeks.

But generally using krpano 1.20 with PTP would be already possible:
- either by manually updating/replacing the krpano files of an PTP output,
- or by following the upgrade instructions in the PTP license menu.

But that will only update the krpano viewer and plugin. To be able use the new features like VR-controller support, partial-pano support, new sound support and so on the PTP template files would need be to adjusted and updated. That's what I'm already working on.

So, my first impression is that this new krpano opens now the possibilities for using point cloud models? at least a "matterport kindda" system can now be coded now on our side, am I right?
Please see the krpano Depthmap Support post for more information on that topic.

Both settings should work, but now the tidle-key is used instead of the O key for log opening/closing:

Das ist im Download Paket bei 'partialpano' Beispiel (viewer/examples/partialpano/) enthalten:

Best regards,
Klaus

Looks like an incredible update! This opens a lot of new creative potentials.

I have a few questions, does the 3d/depthmap feature support tiled images for gigapixel? If so, can the Depthmap tile and stream? Are there any options for nested gigapixel in this release?

auto_oversampling

First I must say I LOVE the new controller support with the Oculus GO !!! great new feature !
Maybe I didn't understood something but I thought auto_oversampling which seems to be set to true by default would increase oversampling on devices like Oculus GO, but on mine oversampling is still set on 1 (default webvr.xml and vtourskin.xml) ?
Am I missing something ?
