vr div click in krpano 1.20

hi all,

I am so so so so pleased with krpano 1.20.
Thank you Klaus!

I'm writing this but i guess there is no real solution to this other than create some layers/hotspots to receive the event and then pass it on to the div via JS

I got a googlemaps div showing my panoramas with pins all over my country

While i was hoping around i remembered to click my map and it showed up but i could not zoom in or out. I could drag it but my guess is that the vr controller cant find what to click inside the googlemaps div.

thank you for your time.

Hi,

I assume you mean using google-maps inside the Oculus browser, or?

I such case and as long as not in WebVR mode (in normal window browsering mode) the browser handles the vr-controllers and simulates touch-inputs when using them.

I have just tested using the krpano google maps plugin and it works, controlling the map is possible and for zooming there are zoom in/out buttons...
So I'm not fully sure what you mean?

Best regards,
Klaus

I meant Oculus go (in my case ) in webvr mode.
When I'm home. I'll write it in a clearer way.
Thanks

Inside WebVR mode there can't be a google map...

Only the pano-image and hotspots are possible in WebVR, no layers or html content.

You are right (of course you are)

what is happening to me is that the hover works... the buttons change colour, the pegman "jumps", etc but click does not happen

screenshot attached

the way i did it
Layer is created
type="container" align="top" y="10%" width="50%" height="50%" visible="false"
bgcapture="true" capture="true" handcursor="false" keep="true"
onloaded="add_div();"

add_div adds inside that layer.
javascript is called to add the map to that div Id.

Here is the live example. This is the link to the pano that this version helped me tile.

Hi,

the Google Maps API itself isn't well designed for integration into other interactive applications.
Especially when it comes to touch events.

Inside that krpano Google Maps Plugin I'm using several workarounds to enable correct touch controls in the maps.

That means please try to use the krpano Google Maps Plugin, there the controls should work.

Best regards,
Klaus
