install license

I try to open krpano tools.exe and nothing happens. What is the current way to install the license in 1.2?

my windows 10 knowledge is weak

this should help you open a command line inside your krpano folder

"In File Explorer, navigate to any folder you want to open at the Command Prompt. From the “File” menu, select one of the following options:

Open command prompt. Opens a Command Prompt within the currently selected folder with standard permissions.
[]"

or

"Open Command Prompt from a Folder’s Context Menu in File Explorer
To open a Command Prompt window to any folder, Shift+right-click the folder in File Explorer and then choose 'Open command window here.'"

Hi,

the correct/current way to register the license would be using the 'krpano Tools' app, like shown here:
https://krpano.com/buy/howtoregister/

Registering via command line is possible to (also shown in the link above), but normally that should be not necessary.

Best regards,
Klaus

Hi, can I get clearer instructions on setting up the krpano license for the viewer HTML examples when using a Linux (CentOS7) Apache server.

From the webserver Linux shell I run "krpanotools register show" and it returns the correct license info.
There's a new .krpanolicense file in the same folder as krpanotools executable

But all the example pages still have the "krpano demo version" watermark
Do I need to rebuild something so the browser bundle is now licensed?

What log files should I be looking at?
There's nothing obvious in browser console or Apache access logs.

Cheers, Andrew

krpanotools protect -o=krpano.signed.js krpano.js
krpanotools protect -o=krpano.signed.swf krpano.swf

Awesome thanks Thomas that worked.

Also changed the loader html to use those new files.

The "protect tool" documentation is at https://krpano.com/tools/kprotectcl/#top

I wouldn't have thought to use that for "license registering".
So a link should be added to 'How to register' page https://krpano.com/buy/howtoregister/
