Can anyone answer this question? Prepareing cubical images is impossible for regular user, but if user just provide regular pano iamge, wide image shot from iphone, can krPano handle that?
I checked krpano doc, it support Flat image, is that the same as iPhone pano image?
Any example?
Thanks

My question is how to play it?
I checked the sample for flat xml, it has bunch of subimages inside, for example:<krpano showerrors="false">
<include url="skin/skin.xml" /><preview url="https://d8d913s460fub.cloudfront.net/tileserver/bro…les/preview.jpg" />
<image type="FLAT" hfov="1.0" vfov="0.25" multires="true" tilesize="512">

But in reality, user just has one pano image, in order to use flat, do I still need to cut and prepare smaller image based on the original rectangular image?Thanks
-
ok, I tested again using flat format, it is working.
Only that iphone pano is not real 360 degree, if we need to have full 360 degree, we still need to stitch two, -
also, for flat,there is no pano effects at all, just like displaying a wide image, I cut it into four images, and use cube mode, also bad.
Does anyone knows how facebook did that? Seemed it is impossible to play a phone pano image with real pano effects here.You can check krpano example page to see what I mean here
