I just updated my large museum tour and it destroyed my interface completely on IPhone.
Krpano 1.19.14 http://www.360-foto.dk/nationalhistorisk-museum/index.html
KRpano 1.20.5 http://www.360-foto.dk/nationalhistorisk-museum/index20.html

I have checked the html fies generated by 1,19 and 1.20 and there is a difference.
This is 1.19 and thats also the one I have used for a long time. And I have not of course updated that but only the actual viewer files.
And my skin xml has of couse not been changed.
<style> @-ms-viewport { width:device-width; }
@media only screen and (min-device-width:800px) { html { overflow:hidden; } }
html { height:100%; }
body { height:100%; overflow:hidden; margin:0; padding:0; font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size:16px; color:#FFFFFF; background-color:#000000; }
</style>
And 1.20
<style>
html { height:100%; }
body { height:100%; overflow:hidden; margin:0; padding:0; font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size:16px; color:#FFFFFF; background-color:#000000; }
</style>
Have tested the new Style but it does not make any difference.
Did you check
https://krpano.com/docu/html/#mobilescale
The scale has alway been 1.0 and still is in the html generated by Krpano.
If the viewer has changed this it is a bug.
Tuur
I updated one of my newer tours. Made in 2019 using the 1.19. tool for the basics.
Same thing.
Do you have an Android mobile to check it.?

I have updated the html of the mobilescale:1.0 to 0.5 and it is now correct.
The initialscale also changes the scale on iPad and should still be 1.0
But why is this not mentioned anywhere in the documentation and why is the Tools geenerating html with mobilescale:1.0
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>

<meta name="apple-mobile-web-app-status-bar-style" content="black" />
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;charset=utf-8" />
<meta http-equiv="x-ua-compatible" content="IE=edge" />
<style>

<script src="tour.js"></script>
<div id="pano" style="width:100%;height:100%;">
<noscript><table style="width:100%;height:100%;"><tr style="vertical-align:middle;"><td><div style="text-align:center;">ERROR:<br/><br/>Javascript not activated<br/><br/></div></td></tr></table></noscript>
<script>
embedpano({swf:"tour.swf", xml:"tour.xml", target:"pano", html5:"auto", mobilescale:1.0, passQueryParameters:true});
</script>
</div>
</body>

Hi,
But why is this not mentioned anywhere in the documentation and why is the Tools geenerating html with mobilescale:1.0
It is documented in the release notes of version 1.20:
https://krpano.com/docu/releasenotes/#embedpano
QuoteChange: The mobilescale setting is 1.0 by default now.
The change to 1.0 in the default html template is already much longer ago and was done with a kind of transition phase, first an automatic scale-change in the vtourskin.xml, then updated values in html templates files and finally the change of the default mobilescale setting.
The reason for that default scale to 1.0 is that responsive layouts make more sense today and the krpano default skins are adjusted for that. Additionally this way other web-content on the page and krpano are using the same scaling.
The initialscale also changes the scale on iPad and should still be 1.0
Don't change the viewport settings like initialscale, they are related to how mobile browsers renders and scales the page. For krpano layout scaling only use mobilescale or the stagescale settings.
Best regards,
Klaus
