Pano movement after Map shown nolonger possible

  • Hi

I have a vtour and normally I can move/ navigate within the pano with my mouse, great. But whenever I’m showing the map and selecting a new pano the mouse navigation is no longer working. Any idea how to fix that.

I’m using krpano 1.20.6 and it worked with 1.20.2.

    Many thanks for your support,
    Urs

  • Hi Klaus

I’ve copied the vtour to following locations:
    https://ursgehrig.com/wp-content/upl…vtour/tour.html (using Bing)
    https://ursgehrig.com/wp-content/upl…tourGoogle.html (using Google)

The only difference between the Bing and Google version is the changed attribute maps_type in the tour.xml file. For the Bing version I used “bing” and for the Google one “google”.

I’m using a Windows 10 PC (Version 1901 Build 18363.815) with Microsoft Edge 44.18362.449.0 and that’s how you can reproduce it:

    1. Load the vtour (either the Bing or Google Version)
    2. Move the pano with the mouse; its’ working as expected
    3. Click on Map View
    4. Select Bray in Ireland
    5. Move the pano with the mouse; it’s working as expected for Bing but nor for Google

You can do the same with other panos; the behavior is still the same.

Many thanks for your support, very appreciated!

  • Hi,

thanks for the links, but sorry, I still can't reproduce a problem...

I have tested your links now in Edge 44, New Edge, Chrome and Firefox, all on Windows 10 and step by step as listed, but it works everywhere... no problem to reproduce, regardless of what will be done...

Maybe try this for more information - press F12 to open the browser tools, then open there the network tab and after opening the maps look for a line like this:

    Code
    https://maps.google.com/maps-api-v3/api/js/40/11/intl/de_ALL/common.js

This shows what Google Maps API version will get loaded, maybe you will get a different one...

    Best regards,
    Klaus

  • Hi Klaus

Today, Microsoft pushed a new Edge version (Version 81.0.416.68 (Offizielles Build) (64-Bit)) to my computer and it seems that with this version the problem is solved.

Many thanks for your support anyway!
    Urs
