Hi, my color equirectangular works great.
If I change it to balack/white version, I am unable to use droplets and get error message.
How to solve it??

Hi,
i had sort of a similar problem.
i just found that, in photoshop, when you include the colorprofile Grayscale - Gamma 2.2 the droplet makes problems.
When you un-select this colorprofile thing, the droplet works fine.
Perhaps it also works in your case?
Edit: although.. mmm.. i see the preview image is still totally wrong and strange..
Perhaps this is a bug in the droplet..(?)
Hope it helps!

Hi Tuur,
thank you for your advice.Yes, I transfered it to TIF and than some steps and anyway I had to use another tool ( competitive ) to convert to cube faces and process the tour.
Thanks again
Hi,
the krpano tools currently support only RGB images as input, no single-channel Grayscale images - that's the reason.
That is mentioned in the documentation:
ZitatAll formats are only supported in 8 or 16bit RGB or RGBA format.
but I agree that there should be a proper error message in this case.
But for the next release I have now added at least 'partial' support for grayscale images - to process them they will get automatically converted to RGB images when loading.
As manual workaround you could also just load them into an image editor and convert them from a 8bit Grayscale to a 24bit RGB image.
Best regards,
Klaus
ZitatAs manual workaround you could also just load them into an image editor and convert them from a 8bit Grayscale to a 24bit RGB image.
For photoshop: convert to 16bit RGB Tiff.
(save to 32bit (choice is 8-16-32) and then set to 24 bit in second 'promp' doesn't work)
