Live Presenter Plugin | Video Conference Plugin

I would like to introduce my new Panotour Pro / Krpano plugin.

This is the discussion thread for the Live Presenter Plugin | Video Conference Plugin.

This plugin enables you to ground your virtual tour in the moment and place with the help of a guide walking by your side in real-time. The integration of a video call into the virtual tour provides the live assistance of a specialist to tourists, real estate purchasers, students, and all other visitors, transforming a remote visit into an informative and memorable experience.

Main Features :
  • This plugin has two different modes for creating a conference:
    1. Group Mode: All guest mics are on. Everyone can talk and request control over the tour. Perfect for one-on-one sessions or calls with a small group of people.
    2. Presenter Mode: All guest mics are off and everyone follows you through the tour. This mode is ideal for presentations and classes with a medium group of guests/students.
  • Monitor View: This feature can be used to track where users are currently looking within the 360° scene
  • Synchronized View: This feature can be used to ensure all users are experiencing the same view
  • Point of Focus: This feature can be used to direct the user towards a particular area of the 360° scene
  • No monthly subscription cost.

I’m a desktop computer with a microphone but no camera,
Must the initiator have a camera and microphone?

this plugin is based on peer to peer internet connection.
so, everything depends on the internet bandwidth and connection stability.

Open directly in WeChat. Since WeChat uses the QQ browser X5 kernel, there is a compatibility problem when using the plug-in?

Well, still impressed with this plugin but we have run into some issues.

The ones that cause the most concern are;
  • The Live Presenter control panel has disappeared on us several times with no recognizable pattern at this point.
  • Today during a presentation the tour "locked-up" again meaning we could still hear and see participants but could not interact with the tour in any way. This has occurred a couple of times in the past, as well, with no recognizable pattern at this point.

  • I just got another report today that the audio dropped out but everything else worked ok during another presentation.


Here are some things we'd love to see in another release;
  • Ability to change the skin: i.e. color and icons.
  • In group mode an option to only allow audio, not video, sharing across the group.
  • Some other way of letting people know that interaction is disabled in "Synchronized view". At least for the person who is controlling the view. The "banner" across the top can interfere with elements of a tour.
  • Some way to handle events that occur on elements other than hotspots.
  • When exiting the conference not forcing a tour refresh.

This is a GREAT first stab at this concept. I'm more than happy to do anything to aid in your dev of this plugin. *thumbsup*

The other thing that would be awesome is if a URL for a live-session could be created ahead of time. So that we don't have to start the session and then immediately send the participants the URL. Perhaps a time range that it is valid for or other qualifiers...

A New Update For The Live Presenter Plugin:

New feature: "Mouse Pointer Sharing"
  • Fixed bug: camera bug in iOS devices.
  • Improvement of the conference stability.
  • Resolvent of some minor bugs.
MOUSE POINTER SHARING[b]
With this new feature, the host can show his/her mouse pointer position to the guests.
