Krpanotools on macOS panic segfault using maketiles to split the equirectangular image

Hi guys, I'm getting segmentation fault trying to split an equirectangular image to small tiles.
This is my command and the image url (~900KB):

./krpanotools maketiles image.jpg image_%v_%h.jpg 256

krpano maketiles tools 1.20.9 - 64bit (build 2020-11-15)
