Hi,

it depends on the browser and its setting if a new browser window/tab will be opened,
but to avoid opening a new window/tab in any case, use "_self" as target for the openurl() action,

e.g.

Quellcode

1
openurl(mailto:test@internet.com, _self);

best regards,
Klaus

Hello,

A little problem with
openurl('mailto:name@domain?subject=...', _self) managed thru an event onclick='''; on a button.

On a same workstation with Outlook,
- under IE, Safari, no problem, for each click I get an email, It's running well
BUT
under Chrome v8.0, it's running only one time: on the first click... next click : nothing...

I've reproduce the problem with _self and _blank parameter.
Depending of your browser, you can test, button (@), here

I don't think so, because in fact, all parameters are built dynamically before to be passed to an action, lke that:

<action name="buildemail">
txtadd(email.html,
...
);
xemail(get(email.html), get(email.mode));
if(debug,
trace('email built: ',get(email.html), ' : ', get(email.mode));
);
</action>

<action name="xemail">
openurl(%1, %2);
if(debug,
trace('email sent: ', %1,' : ', %2);
);
</action>

and when I debug, for each sending operation I get identical trace.
and I reproduce the problem, only, when I use Chrome and OutLook.
