Dynamically fill html div layer

  • Hello,
I need some guidance for my projethttps://emojipedia.org/folded-hands/#…raying%20hands.

I am working on a flat panorama composed of 150 images of movie posters. It looks like a grid of images.

When the user clicks at a certain place on the panorama, it displays a html div inside a layer with additional info (thanks Klaus for this useful code)

Since I have 150 "points of interest", I wonder what is the proper way to dynamically fill this html div. I want to display the movie title, release year, an image and the movie synopsis.

Should I use the Krpano arrays ? or try to read a json file with Javascript ?

Thank you for your help !!

  • I have a project that sounds kinda simillar to yours.

Maybe you can find some Inspiration.

If you Zoom close into a bottle you can open the information menu. This shows some Infos about the bottle. The box is also scrollable even if it is not a iframe. Big advantage is, you can even move around in the picture with the open Info box and it loads even like 10 new content within a second.

Hope it helps you somehow: http://whisky-panorama.com

  • I found a way using Krpano array and Javacript action that remplace the content of the div *thumbsup*

s-maier your gigapano is impressive !! Amazing work, it gave me some inspiration, the search bar is just perfect !

  • Excellent work. s-maier. I can't load any information at any zoom level on a bottle. What should I do to see it?

    *wink*

    EDIT:
Oh yeah, there was a bug in the english version that prevented loading the info data. The panorama is multi language and I use the german version all the time. Bug is fixed an you should now see the infos *wink* (Cache clearing may be required). Thanks for letting me know!
