Krpano on ipad pro

Hi,

I doubt a bit if an iPad pro +
Keyboard could be nice and good to do some holiday krpano coding, xml, html, js, folder structure, ftp, index.html trigger safari etc etc..
Anybody experience with that who is willing to have a video chat?

I might better get a small macbook, with all advantages, but i also need an ipad ... so i am wondering if i could 'kill 2 mosquitos in one hit'..

Not tablet but ios specific:
Using ios app GoCoEdit to do some code reading and minor coding/bugfixing is pretty useful. Sometimes helpful to do so in a different environment than at the same old workstation/desk.

Hi,

I have this new ipad air + keyboard and i must say coding and running the project next to each other work quite excent!
So if you doubt.. do it.
Can be quite a good option on holidays, train, etc making quick set ups, test, trouble shoot..
Not equally conveniant to desktop, but a serious good option.

i could never live without the terminal...
source control, node, brew, custom scripts helpers, etc...
also sublime text or vsc is a must for me

i'd definitely go with a macbook pro *squint*
i'll be more expensive but has way more possibilities

Hi,

yes I also did find that article, among others.
Textastic is a nice editor for this holiday/bench/train coding I think.

My experience with ipad and workflow

Hello, I have my pc at home but I only travel with my ipad mini with a foldable keyboard. I use everpano for tours. I use azure to host my sites.

I primarily use the ipad for work (non virtual tour) related tasks like mail, tech support and general admin.

In a pinch I edit the krpano files directly in browser in azure portal but I'm always uncomfortable with it.

Since I use the ipad with a remote desktop type connection I thought I'd consider setting up a mac in the cloud on aws and basically have that be my everpano/light coding type environment.
Unfortunately I haven't set up my mac in the cloud up but I could still share my remote desktop experience in general.
I think it's a real option to use the ipad as a remote desktop client and have the environment in the cloud.

Tuur, I happen to be in NL too so maybe we could do more than do a virtual call, maybe I can meet up. I'm in enschede but I travel around quite often.

An iPad Pro with a keyboard can be a suitable device for coding and other tasks, especially when you're on-the-go or traveling. It can handle basic coding tasks like editing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files, and using FTP to upload files to a server.
However, for more complex coding tasks, a small MacBook may be more suitable since it has more processing power and a larger screen. Additionally, some software may not be available for iPadOS.
Ultimately, the choice between an iPad Pro and a MacBook depends on your specific needs and preferences. You may want to consider what types of coding projects you'll be working on, as well as any other factors like portability and cost, before making a decision.
