Hi,
Recently I got a Nokia N900. One feature it has is what they call a panoramic desktop. You can move with your fingers from left to right like a neverending looping flat panorama. There is something I notice and adds to the experience. When you move for example to the right, you see the foreground moving faster (the icons) then the background. It adds a bigger sense of 3d space to the experience, like that the icons are 10meters infront of the panorama.
I wonder if this is possible to add an attribute to a hotspot (Called float or something) that when it's enabled, the hotspot doesnt remain static but moves with the panorama (like as if the panorama and hotspot are on a different sphere that slide across eachother). You create the feeling you can look around the hotspot.
Imagine a streetlight hotspot and when you move the panorama you can actually see behind the streetlight, because like in reallife the streetlight is close to you and thus moving faster to the side then the background does. I hope you got the idea.
