Website Launched Virtualsincpro.com

  • I have just finished developing a KRpano server that allows photographers to easily upload panoramas and build virtual tours with ease. There is no more need for knowing XML. This blows away anything 360cities offers. You can add Music, Video, Sound files, photo galleries, Hot Spots and much more. These are the best transitions out there. They load faster then anything I have seen. You can sign up for a two week trial at http://www.virtualsincpro.com

Here is a sample I built. This hotel includes about 90 virtual scenes and was built with this new back office.

    Please send me your feedback.

  • Hi Bocaguy,

I've just signed up for a trial and put a very low res pano image on there and sure enough it made a pano that I could preview.
I haven't had a proper look into the application yet but my first question is what are you actually offering?

Agreed, I don't need to know XML to use the application but I do need to learn your application.
There is a wealth of help in Krpano forums and documentation and there is not much help in your system.
I could buy Krpano license, Googlemaps license and Iphone license for pretty much the price of one month on your system.

Do I get to export the panos to use on my customers sites (and my site)?

Sorry to appear blunt but i don't really understand what your service is offering.

    Please explain further.

    Thanks.

  • Thanks for testing this out. If you look on the left side once you upload a file you get instructions on how to create hotlinks, upload videos, make a photo gallery, create google maps, design custom side navigations, etc. You can build a fully functional KRpano virtual in minutes instead of taking hours to build custom tours using XML. Nobody has any system like this out there.

I set this application up to be user friendly. Once you build your application with all your hotspots you get a link which you then can use on any site.

The idea behind this is that anyone can build a tour in minutes with almost all the features that KRpano offers. We are constantly adding more features to support all the requests. Look at the demo, I built 90 virtual tour scenes and the upload process to build and hyperlink took about 1 hour. This cuts anyones time down in fractions since everything is automated.

Here is another demo I just launched of an outdoor mall. This is about 50 scenes.

  • Hi again,

I can see where your going with it, there is probably a market for it.
I suppose it just wouldn't suit me and probably many of the members in this forum because we have taken the time to learn how to do it with Krpano ourselves, the same as you have.

That is fair enough but again, it wouldn't suit me. The customers who I have worked for would not want their visitors to leave their site to view their virtual tour.

Agreed, it would save some time but techically you are only cutting out the XML creation and hosting side of things. Users of your system would still have to shoot the pano, records sound files and video files. Then when they are all in the system the user still has to use the same Krpano interface to position the hotspots, that is what takes the time, for me at least. Looking at your 90 scene example, if there was 3 hotspots in each scene then thats 270 hotspots to postition, resize and rotate. There is no way I could do that in an hour using the standard Krpano interface in your application. Unless I am missing something and there is an easy way to add multiple hotspots to a scene and for them to postitioned automatically?

In my opinion the user interface is unintuitive and you have to jump to different sections and pages to get your pano made. I would have used a Wizard style interface which is a bit more step by step. For the money you are asking I would expect a much more polished product although I understand that you have just gone live.

    Thanks.
