iPhone 4

I think the new gyroscope addition to the iPhone4 creates amazing posibilities for interactive panoramas (as well as augmented reality and anamorphosis enabled gaming). Hopefully apple will provide the gyroschope hooks into javascript so Klaus can exploit this capability for krpano on the iPhone!

I envision people "walking" through a virtual tour on their iPhone and actually bumping into buildings as their eyes are glued to their phone as they become so immersed in the tour that they lose control of reality. *g*

Hi,
Hopefully apple will provide the gyroschope hooks into javascript
yes, that's the key, there must be of course a javascript interface so that krpano will be able to use it
(but I must say I'm a bit skeptical that there will be one..., e.g. there is also no javascript interface for the compass)

best regards,
Klaus

Great idea

Surely understanding that this is all about whether Apple will provide API's but if that happends,
gyroscope-based navigation on iPhone would be awesome thing for krpano.

Just to hope that development team at Mobile Safari development team realizes that too. :)
