Embedding VIRTUAL TOUR in other blog or web site for a client from my web site ?

  • Hello every body

    I have made a virtual tour for a client, and this one have no enought place on his web site.

    So I propose him to put this virtual tour on my web site and give him a code to put on his web site for embed the VT.

    I have found a solution who works, but only when the swf file has a XML file separate ( not embed with Krprotect).

    This is the code:

    But when I embed XML file with krprotect, and delete "<param name="flashvars" value="http://www.skydome360.com/visite-virtuelle/visite.xml" />" in the code nothing appear! *cursing*

    So, have you got a solution for embed a tour on an another web site with this method when XML file is embed with KRprotect ?

    It's like "http://www.360cities.net/" when you are in virtual tour and click on "EMBED & SHARE"

    VERY THANKS in advance for every one give me THE solution!
    *question*

  • After multiple test, it seems embbeding XML don't work with this method

    In fact, there is a black box with the contextmenu working, so images don't load!

    I precise, I work with the last krpano version (krpano-1.0.8.11-2010-05-31), and the embed swf is not limited domain.

    I think with the great help from Jarredja, it's a Crossdomain.xml problem, but I have put this file on the root of my website

    Quote

    <cross-domain-policy>
    <site-control permitted-cross-domain-policies="all"/>
    <allow-access-from domain="*" secure="false"/>
    <allow-http-request-headers-from domain="*" headers="*" secure="false"/>
    </cross-domain-policy>

    and in the krpano XML file I have enterred:

    Quote

    <security>
    <crossdomainxml url="http://www.skydome360.com/visites_virtue…crossdomain.xml" />
    </security>

    But nothing appears

    I don't know the solution, but I think there is no solution!

    The only solution: dot not embed xml file and let all people to see your works and stole your license too !!!

  • Hello,

    After hours of trying, I have find a solution who works in main circonstances

    FIRST:
    create a main xml:

    And another tour2.xml (who it will be embed in swf file) with the rest of code for the virtual tour.

    SECOND:
    Open KrProtect

    Find your tour.xml

    Doublle click on tour.xml in KrProtect tool window (little trick, because if clicking on "Edit" it don't works!):

    Now, in the new window appears, UNCHECK Automatic, UNCHECK Embed, and DELETE that is writting in "Embedded Filename/path" case and click CLOSE button.

    You can embed your LOGO (strongly recommended, see later), and be sure tour2.xml is in list for embedding too! and your license registered by tool.

    Now click "Generate Protected File" button for generate your embed swf file.

    With this method, you sure:

    -to have your license protected (who are no directly on the web and prevent stolen!, and your license is embedded in the .swf along with XML to prevent the use for something other than your provided tour)
    -to have your work in the main XML (tour2.xml) protected and no-one see your code (and how you know long night you have past to writte yourprecious code!)
    -to have your logo embed and protect (because on day a client have change my .png logo with a transparent .png image and it like a banding free tour who I sold almost twice as muchin normal time!!!!).
    -and to have the possibility to SHARE your tour in another blog or web site with a code like:

    who requires flashvars (tour.xml) in this case.

    BUT, there is a BUT!, with this method I haven't find the solution to SHARE virtual tour on other web site with external plugins like SIMPLEVIEWER.swf who require an XML file for his gallery!
    In this case, this plugins simply don't appear, because it don't find his XML file.

    So Mr KLAUS if you listening me, can you help me and communities please?

    And sorry for my poor english, I did what I could *confused*

    see you later!
