placement of plugin / image relative to another plugin / image

I have one plugin (map) that has it's x,y origin set by px and it's width / height set by %.

Is there a way that I can position another plugin (image) relative the map plugin?

If I could do something for plugin(image) like x="##% + ##px" then great... but I havent seen where that would work.

Thanks,

Graydon

Hi,

the next beta (6) has addtional ox/oy parameters (for <plugin> and <hotspot>),
these are additional offsets, can be absolute pixels values or percent values:

% values in x/y are relative to the screensize,
% values in ox/oy are relative to the objectsize,

Quoted

If I could do something for plugin(image) like x="##% + ##px" then great... but I havent seen where that would work.
this can be done in this way:
x="20%"
ox="50"

you can test this already with the Valentines version:

and I'm also working on a other additional mode for relative positioning

best regards,
Klaus

I realize this is a really old thread, but was there any development made in this area of positioning? I was hoping to position one plugin relative to another...

The parent is width="100%", height="prop" and I'm trying to consistently position a child "over" a specific position on the parent... despite browser resize and ipad rotation.

It's working if on the child I use parent="parentName" and then use x="10%", y="10%"... I was just wondering if there were something different to use?

You need align set for the child. That's it.

I didn't quite get the meaning of that last post... do you mean you just need to do something like this for the child plugin:

parent="parentName" align="center" x="10" y="15"?

NO.

CHILD="parentName" align="center" x="10" y="15"?
