Pre-loader only when the preview is loading?

Hi Guys - Some people like the pre-loader, some dont.

I`m halfway - I would like the little round loader to spin only until the preview layer (of a multi res pano) is loaded - then disappear completely and let the tiles show the loading progress.

Is this possible?

Cheers

have you tried playing with the different progress settings?

ref - http://www.krpano.com/docu/xml/#progress

Looks like you can get rid of the bar (load)... but not sure if you can remove the spinner (wait) at a set point in time other than at the beginning of the xml loading.

Maybe if you setup your loadpano action with a wait function set to "load" then you might get close to what you are looking for?

Hi,

with the latest beta it should be possible,
use the new "onpreviewcomplete" event to disable/remove the loopings progress:

e.g.

Source code

1
2
3
<progress showload="none" showwait="loopings()" />

<events onpreviewcomplete="set(progress.showwait, none);" />

best regards,
Klaus

Hmmmmm mmmmm mmmm

That doesnt seem to work klaus?

Anyway that the little circle comes up the spit second the next pano is pressed and goes after the preloader?

I tried the above code - no difference.

Hi,

sorry, you're right, it will not work!
the "progress.showwait" and "progress.showload" variables are only interpreted once per pano loading,

but I have planned a complete rewrite of the progess stuff for the next beta,
then there will be more possibilities,

best regards,
Klaus
