javascript interface not working out of the krpano file (split panos)

  • I am a beginner and trying all the exemples and interfaces of krpano, and amazed by all the possibilies offered by this viewer. It is probably the greatest I found, so far.
At the moment I am trying the java interface js_sync (split pano) It works great inside krpano but not outside. Eventhought I added the license, the swfkrpano, the swfobjet in my file.
So far the only problem I had with my pano published is the google keys not working. I went on google api map page, got my keys, but it still shows an error.
It is not a great deal, and I turn around the problem by adding a spot linked to google.
Can anyone explain to me what is missing in my file to export the java interface on a page ?
    Thanks in advance
    Chantal

  • I found the way to make the splitscreen work. For the one who are beginners, like me, you have to put the folder java-sync into a folder holding the swfkrpano, the krpano swf, the licence, etc...
Dont get the folder out of the krpano envelop... it is probably mentionned on the html, but nevertheless, I am not yet capable to understand fully the scripts, and I do it my way.

  • Hi there.

It is kinda apart from krpano googlemaps plugin but at MooTools forums you may find a script I did for an easy to use javascript library for googlemaps with MooTools, called MooGooMaps (using GoogleMaps Javascript API version 3)

And along with my other library, MooKrpano , you will be able to has the best from both worlds.

See a simple example of both codes working together at:

    http://www.paraisoartesano.com/virtualview

Note: Old IE versions won't display it well.

What's better is that I always try these scripts being easy to use and opened for suggestions.

The MooGooMaps script also has custom widgets (mini applications) I've done like DistanceMeter, What's Around Me and Find Me widgets.

The Distance Meter Widget is for measuring distances...

The What's Around Me widget is for displaying only markers around YOU

and the Find Me Widget use HTML5 Gelolocalization API for finding your position on the map.

By other side the MooKrpano will let you create panos on the fly using javascript, and also interfacing with your web site DOM elements, like buttons, menus, and else.

Hope these will be usefull for you and that you may appreciate my effort for document and share them.
