Joomla Site with Krpano viewer - example

Site: Lake-Houston.com

Info: Joomla CMS site with pano's within content as well as using info-bubble text in standard (non-flash) google map to load different panos within the content.

Resources:
- jumi - http://jumi.vedeme.cz/ (embeds stuff into content)
- mosmap - http://tech.reumer.net/ (puts the map in content)

Thanks to Graydon...

Yeah Graydon hooked me up with the embedding of krpano into Joomla. If you ever need help with that contact him. He's the man! Check it out on my site: www.circutour.com on the front page. :D

I don't know if I would call it a special trick... but you can use the Jumi "package" (component, module, plugin) to show a pano in several different places within Joomla. (jumi link in original post)

If you'll let me know some more details about what your friend wants to do I'll try to help you out. Feel free to post them here, pm or email me directly.

I'll need to know what version of Joomla the site is (1.0x or 1.5x) and where the pano needs to show up (within an article, direct linked off a menu item or within a module position).

I do not know anything about wordpress... or a plugin for wordpress that is similar to jumi.

One way that you can do this is to use clearspring (http://www.clearspring.com/) to create a widget from the html page that the tour is on... then the widget can be placed on the wordpress site just as any other widget would be.

A benefit from doing this... the widget can be used on facebook as well as other sites... and then can be shared with and by others.

If you want to try this and you have any difficulty, let me know.
