Nagambie Lakes Leisure Park - Virtual Tour

Hi All. Thought I'd share the virtual tour we did for Nagambie Lakes Leisure Park in Victoria, Australia.

http://www.nagambielakespark.com.au/_virtual_tour/index.html

Main features include a sliding map with animated hotspots and the use of a second sliding floorplan in the accommodation tours.

Hope you enjoy!

very nice! i had a issue with the big map being open and clickin on the cabins. when the cabin map slid out it covered the map tab for the larger map. i knew i could click anywhere on the map to close it but an average user might get confused. when the cabin map slides out maybe auto close the main map at the same time. of change the zorder so they are forced to close the main to get a clear view of the cabin. this happend on my 17 wide at 1280x768 so it will be even worse on 1024x768 which is what most people use still unfortunatly.

what camera and lens did you use? the scenes seem a little soft almost out of focus. the shot near the river is really crooked also.

Thanks!

Thanks for the comments guys!... Creative critisism is alway welcome.

VN2009: Yeah, probably a good idea to have the map auto-close when the cabin map opens. Cheers :)
We used a Nikon D200 and a custom built lens from the states. Both are getting a little old now. Especially the camera/megpixel ratio compared to newer versions.

MINDLESSBOSS: There wasn't supposed to be a border. We dont have access to this particular client's server and for some reason the third party developers decided to include a white border... Dont know why *blink*
Our version is here... http://nagambielakespark.vt.2010.360southclients.com/
Agreed on the preloader, need to make a point of at least changing the colours.

JPDEGLET69: If I remember correctly it was about 7 days in total... It was a full day for our photographer on-site. Then maybe a day to stitch it all together... Then about a full week for me to build it...

Coming Soon!!!

For all you Formula 1 fans!... We had access to the Melbourne Grand Prix last year. Virtual Tour should be out in January.
We utilized the sound plugin for some F1 drive by's... Stay Tuned *thumbup*
