Hi everyone.
Have you seen the transitions between nodes in http://www.everyscape.com and google street view. They are very cool. Any idea on how to accomplish something like this? Are there flash movies in between scenes?
Thanks

Hi,
the transitions on everyscape are pre-rendered movies and I think on google street view informations about the 3d environment were used to move/distorted the parts of the old pano to overlap the new pano,
doing such automatically without more informations (location, environment) about the panos and without some image analysis (e.g. matter matching) is near impossible,

Klaus
Interesting... seems Everyscape technique is more feasible. Can this be done with krpano? Any idea on how to do this?
Regards
Juan
Everyscape does use krpano but they also use what seems to be lots of scripts on top of or in conjunction with it.
Hi,
the Everyscape transitions are pre-rendered and pre-calculated movies,
if you are able to build such transition movies then you can use them with krpano of course,
it works like this:
pano1 -> playvideo -> pano2
best regards,
Klaus
