webcam view embed in panorama

I've thought about this before, basically because I've made panoramas and think webcams could be improved if they were embedded (optionally?) into a panorama, just like a Google map. I've seen a flash video embedded into a panorama (www.tommills.co.uk), so has anyone tried this? Presumably if its possible, then youtube videos could also be added.

Anything's possible *w00t*

If you had a swf app that played the feed from the webcam, then you might be able to directly show it as a standalone plugin... but that's dependent upon the swf app you use and how it handles itself when added to other flash apps.

Another option would be to setup the swf in the textfield plugin and use the img tag to show it. ref http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/201/langr…d.html#htmlText

Same for youtube... if you had a swf player that could both be embedded in krpano and retrieve the video from youtube... you'd be set.

Looks like he's beat me to it! http://tommills.co.uk/latestnews/ thanks for the info. Reason I found the site is that I plan to visit Iceland later in the year (the site has some great tours), so will no doubt do a panoramic or two when I'm there ;-) I shall drive around a bit, so hopefully get some unique views.
