Size of pictures

Good afternoon, I Would Like to Know what is the better size to take the pictures to make pano.

Because if I take too small do not work, if I take large picture the pano could stay heavy.
My pictures usually is with 10MG or 6000x4000.
Thank you

you cannot use 6000:4000 is has to be a 2:1 ratio. 6000x3000 would work. Generally I use 7000x3500 Equirec using the multires tool with krpano.
