I've been working on a project and ran into an issue that when hotspots are in the xml, the pano just shows a black screen. I am still able to press "o" to bring up the console, but it doesn't display any errors. When I delete the hotspot from the xml it works just fine.
I've stripped everything that isn't needed to make the pano work out of the xml just to make sure that something else isn't causing the problem, but it appears to be the hotspot.
