Krpano in Chrome with HTML5 doesn't work

  • Hi, I was trying to test Krpano with HTML5 in Chrome, but it only loads one cube face and if I click and drag that face is rotated around a pivot point in its center, like rotating a plane.
    Zoom doesn't workk too.
I'm trying the official examples, like this:
    http://www.krpano.com/tours/weingut/html5only.html
Is that normal? I mean, those panoramas only works in iphone/ipad and not in browsers like Chrome?

    Regards !!
    Enrique.

  • Hi,

either your chrome is too old (but normally that should be detected),

but for sure - you can get the latest chrome versions here:
    Windows: http://build.chromium.org/f/chromium/sna…hromium-rel-xp/
    Mac: http://build.chromium.org/f/chromium/sna…romium-rel-mac/
select there the folder with the highest number and download chrome from there,

or your hardware or graphic card driver doesn't provide the functions that chrome
needs for hardware accelerated 3D graphics, because without hardware accelerated 3D
chrome can't apply the 3D transform and you will get that output that you described,
unfortunately that situation can't be detected by code, so there can't be an automatic
warning or so in this case, but you can try to update your graphic card drivers, in
    many cases that can help,

    best regards,
    Klaus

  • I think I have the last Chrome, in "about Google Chrome" it says: 9.0.597.47, and there isn't any update available.
My video card is onboard, I have an ATI Radeon HD 3200, how can I check if that is the problem? is there a list of 3D cards compatible with Chrome?
Anyway, Chrome is using some type of 3D, it shows a plane that I can rotate, it's like rotating a Sprite with FlashPlayer10.
