home-made map with google plugin [moved my question to "OSM layer in gmaps plugin" post]

Hi,

Is it possible to switch between a jpg or swf map and the satellite view of google plugin?
The difficulty is to make the two maps matching, to keep the hotspots and keep also the radar position...and the zoom factor.
If this is possible, has someone a path to an example or a template?

Could it be done with buying Google Map source code and switching the map source? As I don't know how this source code is structured, I can't imagine if my own map (jpg or vectorised swf) will work with positionning - and keeping radar and spots on top (of course, the same zoom value for the two maps).

Does anyone knows this?
