Edit cube face

Hi,

i like to edit one of the cube faces (the nadir ofcourse) *wacko*

But i can't open that tif with photoshop CS.. *sad*

Is it possible and what and where do i have to watch out for...??

I can convert that picture with canon digtal professional to TIFF, open with PS .. edit .. and save as tif... (?))

Is this ok or do you think dangerous or what... *confused*

Please help.

as far as I know... TIFF and tif are the same thing.

maybe it's just something odd with recognizing the extension??

test it by...
make a copy of the tif file you want to edit (copy_of_file.tif).
rename the file in order to change the extension to TIFF (copy_of_file.TIFF).
open in your editor and do what you want and save as TIFF.
rename the file to change the extension back to tif.

If that works then you can then move or rename the original tif and then take the modified file and rename it to match the original.

Or - use ktransform to generate jpgs

Hi,

sorry I have no idea why it shouldn't be possible to open the TIFF images from the ktransform in Photoshop...
does anyone other have the same problem?

mmmmm..

when i change to .TIFF it doesn't work but when i make .jpg it opens... *confused* *confused* *confused* *confused*

now i'm sure i gonna buy the web premium suite CS 4 *g*


Somebody else got this??

I saw that in the previous tools version the files were named as jpg when you do the ..to cube droplet..

now it's .tif when you go multi res it's .jpg again.. is the .tif a .tif...
To tif or not to tif ... that's the question *g*

well it works .. not sure about the result though.
