Before/After panos side-by-side synced, anyone know how?

The New York Times did this with the hurricane aftermath in Joplin, Mo. using Google Street View panoramas:

Can it be done with krpano using our own panorama images? Thanks

Maybe I am missing something. I have opened the example files and they show a split or side-by-side panorama but the panoramas are not synced to each other. When I navigate inside one panorama it only moves that one. The other does not move. They are independent panoramas. I am hoping to build something similar to:

Please note how the two panoramas move together when one is navigated. Perhaps I need to edit the example xml file? Thanks for any help/correction...cheers.

are you testing locally?
if yes - is there no error message?

the syncing is done by Javascript, and locally this is not available by default,
you would need to change the Flashplayer security settings,
