• Hi, I have to build a map with 40 spots and I was wondering if there was a way to place the spots on http://maps.google.com with the "my maps" feature and then download a file where the spots are already with the long and lat params ?

Until now I was doing it manually placing every spot hand coded but it's really too long and boring...

How do you build your maps ?

  • set up a google map then use gmaptogpx maybe. that will dump all of you google map spots into an xml file that can be uplaoded to a GPS system. that at least gets all the points into 1 file then you still would have to copy and pasted from the output file into your krpano.xml

  • Thanx VN2011, I finally did it building my map with googlemap and then outputing it in kml, and then pasting the positions in my xml file... a bit painful !
It would be great to have a tool wich would convert kml file to xml for krpano !
