Find active spot with current xml url ?

Hi, I have several panoramas with they're own xml files (no scenes) and I'm trying to make one googlemaps xml file for all of them :

each spot has the same name and same action of the pano xml name :

<spot name="my_pano_1"
onclick="my_pano_1()"       />


<action name="my_pano_1"> update_map_spot(my_pano_1);
 load_map_pano('my_pano_1.xml'); </action>




<spot name="my_pano_2"
onclick="my_pano_2()"       />


<action name="my_pano_2"> update_map_spot(my_pano_2);
  load_map_pano('my_pano_2.xml'); </action>


...

I would like to set the active hotspot onmapready with the current xml file, so I tried this code :

onmapready="plugin[map].activatespot(xml.url);"

It doesn't work but I guess it's because it might return "my_pano_1.xml" intead of "my_pano_1" (am I right ?)
so is there a way to get the xml.url without the .xml at the end ?

Or maybe there is a much easier way to to this ?
