Hi,

there is again a small update for the 1.0.8.14 version - build 2011-10-11

Changes / Fixes - Viewer

The 'default-xml-loading' is now loading the xml file from the same folder as the swf file - before it was loading the xml file from the folder of the html file.
The actions-per-frame limit ('actions overflow') was increased from 2000 to 10000.
The if() action is up to 50% faster now in Flash.
The display.currentfps variable returns now a more accurate framerate.
Fix: The if() action was working wrong when a variable name contains a EQ, LT, LE, GT or GE (upper-case only).
Fix: Mousebutton and keyboard releases were not detected when the window loses the focus or becomes inactive.
Fix: videoplayer.swf - no sound after pause() and playvideo() calls.
Fix: On Android the <mobile> / <tablet> image detection was not working correct for the new <cube> syntax.

Changes / Fixes - Tools

krpano Protect Tool
- When using the "All" output to generate the swf, exe and app at one time and the "domain-limited" mode was selected before then the generated swf was still domain limited.

bug in vtour droplet

I tried to make vtour with 3 flat panoramas. Droplet takes only the first and the 3rd pano.

iPhone 4 Scaling Issue

The iPhone 4 seems to have scaling issues with the new .js. All of my projects with the updated files have very tiny plugins on the iPhone, where the previous version was scaled perfectly. Has anyone else experienced this?

Any thing I need to update in the xml?

You have to have a viewport tag to get it scaled properly. I wish there was an alternate way to set scaling. The viewport tag can be a hassle to manage on pages and doesn't work many situations.
For instance for pages where I can't use viewport, I have 3 or four lines of code for every single graphic and textfield element which normalizes it to look like it should. I wish this could be done internally instead. God forbid, apple comes out with another screen dpi setting. ie iPad3.

die krpano Tools 1.0.8.14 (build 2011-10-14) für Linux 32bit and Linux 64bit sind bisher nicht im Download verfügbar.

Ist dies so gewollt?

does this happen every time? and what Mac OSX version are you using?
regarding to the screenshot it seems like that the ENTER keypress was also used to answer also the second y/n question...

ja, das ist beabsichtigt, es gabe in den letzten zwei Builds keine Änderungen in den Kommandozeilen Tools, deshalb sind die Linux Versionen immer noch up-to-date,

Yes it happens evry time with any number of flat panos. Only the first and the latest pano are taken in consideration.
My Mac OS X version is 10.6.8

Hi,

there is new update with two small fixes and a small improvement - build 2011-10-21

Fix: In the krpanoJS viewer in some specific situations the action calls from elements (plugin or hotspot elements), that were removed after an loadpano/loadscene call, were skipped wrongly.
Fix: Now when using the Droplets (kmakemultires Tool) on Mac with partial panos and the tool asks for the pano type, wrong keyboard inputs will be filtered and the tools will wait and accept only correct keys to avoid an unintentionally image skipping.
The cubical preview images (made by the kmakemultires (droplets) or by the kmakepreview tools) have now a better quality - in the previous versions the cube edges didn't join correctly in the preview images.

Feature request
Now available variable access directly in object

for example
plugin name="test"
onclick="set(alpha,0);"

this will set object alpha to 0
BUT, if try to call this object action from some external action then alpha variable will not belong to object

for example
action name="someaction"
plugin[test].onclick();
/action

this will show warning - alpha variable not find

so feature request is - action call has variables object access, same if i call it from object

preload problem

Dear Klaus,
Last update has preload problem. In our system there is a action has not have action in preload. 3 update ago this problem was also has but it was solved in 2 update ago.
for example=
<events onxmlcomplete="set(plugin[pg].alpha , 1);"/> but we haven't got plugin[pg]

preload problem

http://pano.dyna.com.tr/ankara/ this is the project with new krpano and not working.

http://pano.dyna.com.tr/ankara/index1.html is the previous version and the system is working..

this is the first xml file pano.dyna.com.tr/ankara/untitled.xml

Klaus, is it a good idea to offer the latest krpano.swf and swfkrpano.js through the url, just like for instance jquery does? or perhaps only a zip.

something like http://krpano.com/build/krpano_latest.zip or http://krpano.com/build/krpano_latest.swf and http://krpano.com/build/krpano_latest.js

and perhaps you should get start Tweeting ;) I love to follow you and all the updates.
