I would like to draw arbitrary lines in spherical coordinate systems in order to align them with panorama. One way to do it would be to use hotspots, but hotspots define an area not a line. Is there another, more appropriate solution?
How to draw lines?

you can use images (lines as png) as distorted or normal hotspots.
then set this width or height and move to the right porition. -
To be precise, I would like to draw a polyline: a collection of lines e.g. a sinusoid wave or non regular zig-zag line. Using images would be pretty difficult and the resolution would not match the panorama.

Hi,
there is no API to draw lines in krpano,
but the polygonal hotspots could be used when point coordinates were used two times - one time from start to end and then back from end to start,e.g. when there 4 points:
1 -> 2 -> 3 -> 4 -> 3 -> 2 (-> 1)best regards,

Is the answer still valid? Since then its already a while and
I noticed that polygon hotspots have an advanced setting "polyline"
Quotehttps://krpano.com/docu/xml/#hotspotFull
variable nameTypeDefault value
hotspot[name].polyline Boolean falseDraw a line-polygon instead a filled-polygon.
The start and end points will not be joined.I tried using that option, but couldnt see any effect/change if set to true. Do i need the alpha 1.19 Version for this?

Yes, at least the 1.19 pre-release 3 would need to be used for that.
