swfkrpanomousewheel and wmode opaque/transparent in FF3

Hi,

I've installed thickbox in my tour. I alsoo updated the swfobject to 2.1 with swfkrpanomousewheel 2.1.

When I leave the wmode to normal, parts of the thickbox are missing (the close button / caption). I figured that it was because flash falls over that part so I put the wmode of krpano swfobject, to opaque or transparent. But now I can't use the mousewheel to scroll in Firefox 3. Everything works fine in IE 7. I thought it might be the thickbox, so I installed greybox, but the mouseproblem remains. When I google about it, I see tons of issues of people using wmode and FF 3. Do you have a solution for it Klause?

that happened to me and someone pointed out this. if you have 'modal=true' you will not get the close button. I use TB also and that was it.

call a thickbox from the xml file

Yeah, but thats not it. My modal is alsoo set to false. You're site doesn't work either (the scrolling I mean) in Firefox 3, but it does work in IE 7. It has something to do with the wmode and Firefox compatibility, so I was thinking if Klaus got a mousewheel fix for it

I don't know if it's necessarily a FF3 issue... but may be wrong.

Try this page...
http://lake-houston.com/explore/explore-…a-grill?start=2

It should take you to where I have 2 panos on the same page... both work fine with the wheel scroll / zoom for me in FF3 and IE

However... this page... http://marlincreek.com/ has problems with the scroll wheel zoom because the wmode="transparent" (did this so the drop down menu would show on top of the krpano area)

in FF3 - no zooming at all
in IE - zooms and scrolls page at the same time

I think I've seen a krpano user that used LightWindow (http://www.stickmanlabs.com/lightwindow/) and the scroll / zoom looked to work fine.

Hey Graydon,

Testing those sites gives me the same result you have. Greybox or Thickbox isn't the problem. Even without the popup javascript, and a exmpty xml. As soon as you do wmode="opaque" or transparent, FF 3will only scroll the page. I'll try Lightwindow, perhaps that this can work without the wmode.

Hi

Anyone know if there's a fix for this yet? I need to use wmode = transparent but doing so using the new swfkrpano.js breaks the mousewheel scroll in IE8 and FF3. Still works fine in Chrome and Safari though. *huh*

Versio 1.0.8.12 - Bug noch da?

Hallo Klaus,
