360 Multires Pano

Hello!

I'm very new to krpano and am trying to make a 360 Multires tiled image. My source is an 8-bit .psb file. krpano does not recognize that the image represents a full 360 view, and instead tiles it as a partial panorama. All the data is there, it just doesn't wrap around.

Is there a step that I am missing?

Many thanks,
Erin

Does your psb file has a resolution two times larger than height ?

Hi,

what size (in pixels) has your image?
and what are the krpano droplets asking and what have you entered? (e.g. 360 as hfov?)

best regards,
Klaus

I think you pano has a width of uneven pixels such as ending on 1,3,5,7 or 9

that shouldn't matter...

My image has dimensions of 31988x6520, so it is NOT 2:1. We are using AutoPano GIga to render out the file as a sphere, but something is getting lost in the translation. When I drag the file onto the "Make Multires" Droplet, Terminal prompts me that the image is NOT a 360x180 panorama image, then asks me if the image is a partial pano. If I click "no", it sets me back to the root prompt, effectively ending the program. If I click "yes", it allows me to choose the type (sphere) and the hfov (which I set at 160, for a test), but then renders out a "flat" pano, NOT a 360.

Hi,

sphere is okay, but 160 is wrong of course,
for a 360x* pano, enter 360 as hfov,

best regards,
Klaus
