Panotour-Pro Reselling

Hi,

I got an nice offer from Kolor to resell Panotour-Pro also on the krpano page - and because Panotour-Pro is including the full krpano licenses, I think this is a good idea - so now, here is it - Panotour-Pro can now be bought also via the krpano buy page:

http://krpano.com/buy/

and here:

http://krpano.com/buy/panotourpro/

and here the steps, how to export the included krpano licenses,
to use them directly with the krpano viewer and tools:

http://krpano.com/buy/panotourpro/#licenseexport

Best regards,
Klaus

Will there be a package to "upgrade" from standard Krpano to Panotour Pro without having to pay for full licensing again?

Hi,

"upgrade" is the wrong term - Panotour Pro is a different product from a different company. The costs/prices of the included krpano license can't be directly compared. That means I can't offer an "upgrade".

But Kolor is offering a way to get Panotour Pro with a discount when you already have a krpano license - please see here:

Hi Klaus

Mmmm Panotour Pro looks good for my workflow. Just done the trial.

I am sort of ok with xml which I have learnt through your excellent online documentation. I recognise lots or krpano stuff on the ptp site. But I cannot do without your Combobox plugin which is great and now on the iPad too. Do you know if that plugin can be used within PTP?

Ok just had a reply on the PTP forum. There is a pano list which looks the same as the combobox which is good.

Do you know if it will work the same on the iPad? I can't test with the trial software!

have no demo online...
and I have no ipad so I didfollowing: I tested a mobile tour exported from ptp in combination of the ipad simulator coming from krpano package. just adopting the path to refer to the files from panotuor...

the combobox is displayed and looks like usable (I mean big enough to klick with fingers...)

rebate on panotour pro for existing krpano-pro-users?

What about the other way round? I do already own the licences which are included into panotour pro. Is there a rebate offer if buying panotour pro without the licences? This should be a natural option on the KRPano website.

I think you are referring to this, which is what I asked earlier.

http://www.kolor.com/blog-en/2011/06/22/…-tour-software/

My understanding of the license issue is this.

If you own Krpano and wish to use panotour, visit the link above and pay for panotour without the licensing fees of Krpano.
If you own panotour, the Krpano licenses are already included with it.
These licenses are totally separate from the OPTIONAL "branding free" license which can be purchased for both products.

Thank you for pointing me to this. I checked the Panotour Pro products from the Buy-Section of the website before and there is no mention about this option there so far.

So, saving 100,- on the main product with an existing licence is just fine. I think I will have a closer look on that option now.

I have made panos with different tools since 2005 and are for now using Kolor's APG. Since 2009 I have used krpano for presenting them on the web, and though not being a programmer I've managed allright.

It was almost a revolution for me when Kolor made Panotour available: I can do 95% of the trivial work in Panotour and do the refining with my krpano knowlegde. For me the krpano/Kolor cooperation is really a lucky strike ! For now Autopano is showing only a small fraction of the options in krpano and I hope Kolor will adopt more of the power of krpano. They have made a very fine start !
