Hi,
I'm trying to generate an offline version of my virtual tour using krpano linux tools, i'm guessing kprotect does that, but it seems to me that it only outputs swf files.
any ideas on how to generate the offline version on linux?
Thanks,
Slinky

Hi,
with the kprotectcl tool it is possible to create windows standalone .exe files,
you need to download first a standalone window flashplayer exe file and then set the path to it via the '-fpexe=#' parameter, best regards,

Hi Klaus,
What do you mean by standalone window flashplayer exe? is it the flash player installer?
Thank you -
No. Here it's called a projector.
http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
It's a monolith exe that can open a swf file, play it, and create an exe containing said swf. So that you can run this exe on a machine without flash installed.

Hi,
I've downloaded the projector, and pointed the kprotectcl to it, pointed it to the starter xml, gave it an output of an exe file, but it generates an exe file that when you execute, it gives you an empty (black screen) content, the same as the projector when it's first downloaded.
Am i missing something?
Thanks -
Does it work on a windows system? Usually, its a bad xml or license. Its very hard to troubleshoot because there are no error messages.

Hi,
when generating the exe file you need to specific also an xml file (-xml=#) - have you done that?
The exe file will only load start with an embedded startup xml file.Best regards,
Klaus
