Hi Klaus, Please be kind and give an official position about this issue, I'll need to implement a similar behaviour for the first example of "infinite gigapixel" panorama and will be of great help if I know that the multires is possible for distorted hotspots and can be nativelly supported in the future krpano releases.
I have couple of ideas for workarounds but i'll rather change priority and focus on blending and aligning if you say that the multires for distorted hotspots will be implemented in near future.
