MAKE PANO MULTIRES does SPHERE to CUBE instead

Hello,

I have a spherical gigafoto in .psb. I go to use the MAKE PANO MULTIRES droplet but it starts making the SPHERE to CUBE function instead.

It's driving me crazy! Why does it do that?

I have not modified the config file, I have tried the latest versions of krpanotool, the image is 2:1, but still nothing.

It does the same with MAKE PANO NORMAL.

Please help

Hi,

that's not 'instead', that's 'additionally' (already since 2009-12-04 by default) and can be disabled anytime in the .config files by setting converttocube to false.

But the conversion to cubical has several advantages:

HTML5 compatibility
Better Flash Display Quality (no 'wavy lines', no 'bad' zenith/nadirs)
Better Flash Rendering Performance
