Ø-ä-Å etc does not work in new Title text function.

The new Title text function is great as it also works fine on iPad but my Danish, Swedish and Portuguise characters does not work.
Do I really have to use entity codes for it.

As far as I can see it is a standard textfield text which is able to use the title as data.

I have had no problem with just writing special characters in the xml for showtext or Textfield before. Just did some check on a couple of old tours and it works fine.

Hi,

make sure that the xml was saved as UTF-8 or UTF-16 file, then this should work automatically.

Best regards,
Klaus

As I said I checked that several times by saving from same text editor to a couple of the old tours.

I did have some problems a couple of years ago and since then I simply removed all options for open and saving anything else than UTF 8 or 16.
